Mrs. Augusta Virginia "Jennie" Kilburn

Mrs. Augusta Virginia “Jennie” Kilburn, 89, of Temple, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Wellstar Community Hospice in Austell. She was born February 2, 1919 in Ball Ground, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Ciscero Cole and the late Mrs. Myrtle Crowe Cole. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ball Ground and was a homemaker. She enjoyed antiques, beautiful flowers, and was an avid fan of “Gone with the Wind”. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Kilburn. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Starling and Jane Kilburn of Temple; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Lea and John Flotz of Douglasville; 2 great grandsons, Brandon Flotz and Andrew Flotz; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM from Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn with Brother Gene Fields officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
