Mrs. Bama Beatrice Kilgore Owens, 91, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Wellstar Paulding Nursing Center. She was born September 29, 1914 the daughter of the late Mr. Jack Kilgore and the late Mrs. Mary Nolan Kilgore. She was a member of Moore Avenue Baptist Church in Anniston, Alabama. She worked as a spinner in the cotton mill. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Owens and daughter, Barbie Marie Adams. She is survived by one daughter, Caffey Lumpkin of Rockmart; one son, Buddy Owens of Marietta; one sister, Jackie Mae Cook of Villa Rica; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Lucille Kilgore of Sax, AL and Neal and Doris Kilgore of Anniston, AL; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Hurston officiating. Interment and graveside services will be conducted Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 2:00 PM EST at Oxford City Cemetery in Oxford, AL with the following serving as pallbearers: Dan Lumpkin, Tim Lumpkin, Clifford Cook, Danny Cook, Shannon Owens, and Zackary Owens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Messages of condolences may be sent to www.jones-wynn.com.
