Mrs. Carrie Louise Martin Bowen

Mrs. Carrie Louise Martin Bowen, age 80, of Katie Street, Temple, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late William Martin and the late Raymie Carter Martin. She was a wife, mother and homemaker; and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Villa Rica and also a member the Grace Baptist Church Choir. In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Bowen; her daughter, Mrs. Patsy Bowen Hall. Mrs. Bowen is survived by daughters and sons-in law Mendy and Steve Tucker of Temple, Georgia; Shirley and Wayne Wilson of Hiram, Georgia; Mattie and Robert Grogan of LakeGeneva, Florida; Brenda Price and Dennis Miller of Conyers; Peggy and Jim Dillard of Carrollton, Georgia; Mel Hall of Lawrenceville, Georgia: Sons and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Linda Bowen of Pageland, South Carolina; Ricky Bowen of Carrollton; Michael Bowen of Temple; sister, Evelyn Bowen of Douglasville; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren ; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Bowen will be conducted Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Barry Golden, Steve Tucker, Michael Bowen and Ricky Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery in Lithia Springs, Georgia.
