Mrs. Dessie Mae Hill Payne

Mrs. Dessie Mae Payne, 84, of Winston, Georgia went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 20, 2006. She was born February 23, 1922 in Hall County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Charlie Y. Hill and the late Mrs. Beulah M. Watson Hill. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Smyrna and retired as a secretary for over 30 years for the City of Atlanta. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph O. Payne; brothers, Charles E. Hill and Harrison W. Hill. She is survived by one sister, Vernelle Hill of Douglasville; one brother and sister-in-law, Max and Mildred Hill of Winston; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, December 22, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Ikey Watson and Rev. Stephen Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Smyrna. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Thursday, December 21, 2006 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel is serving the Payne Family.
