Mrs. Frances Irene Cronan Teal, age 75, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, October 16, 2006 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. She was born January 22, 1931 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and worked at a grocery store as a meat wrapper. She was affectionately known as âNannyâ by her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Lonzo Cronan. She is survived by her husband, William J. Teal of Douglasville; four daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Ronnie Ayers of Winston, Fran Collum of Douglasville, Mignon Sherrill of Douglasville, and Sonya and Johnny Basler of McDonough; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Woody and Pat Cronan of Douglasville, Leonard and Debbie Cronan of Douglasville, and Raymond Cronan of Temple; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Garry Eudy and Rev. Charles Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Douglasville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Tuesday, October 17, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
