Mrs. Marion Elizabeth Crawford Dillard

Mrs. Marion Elizabeth Crawford Dillard, 83, of Lake Monroe Road, Douglasville, GA passed away Sunday, August 26, 2007 at Tranquility Hospice following an extended illness. She was born January 10, 1924 in Fulton County, GA the daughter of the late Mr. Harry Marion Crawford and the late Mrs. Velma Odessa Purcell Crawford. She was a retired bookkeeper and office manager having worked for Sears, McElroy and Hardy Construction, Jasper Construction, and Dillard Construction. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Donald Dillard, Sr., and one brother, Fred Jasper Crawford. Survivors include daughter, Joyce Payton of Douglasville, son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Anita Dillard of Mt Zion, Sister and brother-in-law, Midge and Jim Barbaree of Smyrna, sister-in-law, Bobbie Crawford of Mableton, 2 grandchildren, Cindy and Phillip Wilson of Heflin, AL and Wade Dillard of Mt. Zion; 6 great grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Monday, August 27, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Tuesday, August 2, 2007 from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour.
