Mrs. Martha Louise Lawrence Smith

Mrs. Martha Louise Lawrence Smith, 67, of Riley Road, Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 21, 2005 at her residence. She was born May 21, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Wesley Roy Wilson and the late Mrs. Myrtle Kirk Wilson. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a waitress at the Waffle House Restaurant. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Wilson, Clifford Wilson, and Raymond Wilson. She is survived by her husband, James Smith of Douglasville; one daughter, Judy K. Goffey and her husband, Kimbal of Fairmount; one son, Tom Tanner and his wife, Cathie of Berrien Spring, MI; her brother, Ray Wilson; 4 grandchildren, Chris Mann, Krystal Mann, Mike Kuhlman, and Tyler Kuhlman; one great-grandchild, Dylan Mann. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, July 24, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with the following serving as pallbearers: Chris Mann, Donnie Woodward, Brian Green, Keith Green, Joe O’Leary, Steve Tanner, and Tony Tanner. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Saturday, July 23, 2005 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
