Mrs. Mattie Lee Daniel Cohran, 97, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 3, 1910 in Paulding County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Watt Daniel and the late Mrs. Rosie Deaton Daniel. She married Earlie Lee Cohran on January 6, 1928 in Paulding County, Georgia. Mrs. Cohran was a member of the Douglasville Church of God and worked at the hosiery mill. She was a wonderful wife to her husband and a devoted mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Earlie Lee Cohran, Sr., sons, Benjamin Franklin Cohran, Earlie Lee Cohran, Jr. Dennis Cohran and James K. Cohran; sisters, Ida Pauline Daniel and Ruby Cohran and brothers, Gordon Daniel, Joe Daniel, Elmo Daniel, and James Daniel. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Marion Evans of Douglasville; son and daughters-in-law, Thomas Watson and Becky Cohran of Douglasville, Sherry Cohran of Jonesboro and Delores Cohran of Douglasville; brother, Esmer Daniel of Clarkdale; 21 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, December 7, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. James Green and Rev. C.L. Summerall officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Friday, December 6, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
