Mrs. Mazelle Benton Eastwood

Mrs. Mazelle Benton Eastwood, 80, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. She was born February 13, 1928 in Thomasville, NC the daughter of the late Mr. William Guy Benton and the late Mrs. Ruby Smith Benton. She was a member of Harmony Christian Church. She retired as a cashier. She enjoyed sewing, fishing and spending time with her beloved family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Leonard Eastwood. She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Teresa and Kenneth Spicer of Villa Rica and Marla Eastwood of Atlanta; sisters, Juanita Vaughn of Hiawassee, Betty Jean and Charles Mathis of Danielsville, Joann Lowery of Hiawassee, Elaine and Clifford Beck of Commerce, Carolyn Gay of Dearing, and brother, Steve Benton of Commerce; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be conducted Sunday, March 9, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Pastor Greg Hogan officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
