Mrs. Rilla Loraine Gober Agan, 68, of Singleton Road, Temple, Georgia passed away Thursday, June 29, 2006 at Haralson County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. She was born October 9, 1937 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Joel Gober and the late Mrs. Annie Gober. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She worked as a customer service representative for J.C. Penneyâs Credit Office in Atlanta. She was a devoted preacherâs wife and served her husband and the ministry faithfully. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Joann Harper. She is survived by her loving husband, Rev. Clarence Andrew Agan of Temple; one daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Dr. Corky Addison of Bremen; one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Melinda Agan of Villa Rica; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Kay Sanders of Temple; 3 grandchildren, Amy and Bruce Bearden, Holly Agan, and Hillary Agan; one great-grandson, Alex Bearden; three nephews, Dennis Sanders, Jeff Sanders and Terry Harper; several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, July 2, 2006 at 3:00 PM from Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Temple with Dr. Corky Addison officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by The Diplomats. Interment will follow at New Brooklyn Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Jeff Sanders, Dennis Sanders, Josh Sanders, Jonathan Harper, Justin Harper, and Bruce Bearden. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Friday, June 30, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Saturday, July 1, 2006 from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM.
