Mrs. Rosa Linda McGuire

Mrs. Rosalinda Paiz McGuire, age 75, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 15, 2006 at her residence. She was born October 11, 1931 in San Antonio, TX the daughter of the late Mr. Marin Paiz and the late Mrs. Irena Gonzales Paiz. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther McGuire, Sr. on October 17, 2002; and her son, Mickey Carlton McGuire. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Ann and Curtis Wayne Little of Douglasville; four sons and daughters-in-law, Luther Jackson McGuire and Karen Mozley McGuire of Blairsville, Sandy Wayne and Manuela Mandy McGuire of Albany, Perry James and Lauren McGuire of Douglasville, and Rickey Glenn McGuire of Douglasville; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Gibbs and Rev. Lee Roy Hall officiating. Mr. Perry McGuire will render the eulogy. Interment will follow at Central Cemetery with the following grandsons serving as pallbearers: Brian Little, Shawn Patrick McGuire, Matthew Thomas Johnson, Reed McGuire, Matthew McGuire and Jonathan McGuire. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Road, SE, Smyrna, Georgia 30080 in memory of Mrs. Rosalinda McGuire.
