Mrs. Vesta Haley Cole, 89, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 4, 2006 at her daughterâs residence. She was born December 16, 1916 in Polk County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. John Ruben Haley and the late Mrs. Eula Lee Lemon Haley. She was of the Baptist Faith and she was a homemaker. She was an artist, an avid reader, and enjoyed gardening. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harl Cole; her sons, John Anthony Cole and Paul Wayne Cole and her grandson, Leon Carlucci. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela Overton of Marietta, Valerie and David Carlucci of Dallas, and Melissa and Chris Bumgarner of Villa Rica; one son, Kendrix Cole of Temple; two sisters, Gladys Miller of Villa Rica and Elvia and Amos Baggett of Temple; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Vesta H. Cole will be conducted Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 6, 2006 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
