Mrs. Virginia Lucille Dooly Hilderbrand

Mrs. Virginia Lucille Dooly Hilderbrand, age 78, of Woodland Drive, Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, December 1, 2006 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. She was born October 10, 1928 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Marshall A. Dooly, Sr. and the late Mrs. Lena Dooly. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Marshall A. Dooly, Jr. and Leonard Ross. She is survived by her husband, Cosby Carl Hilderbrand of Douglasville; one daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Bill Lenderman of Warner Robins; four sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Melanie Hilderbrand of Douglasville, Joe and Leslie Hilderbrand of Douglasville, Bill and Amy Hilderbrand of Powder Springs and Carl and Susan Hilderbrand of Bloomington, IN; one sister, Alice Patrick of Fayetteville; 8 grandchildren, Lauren Hilderbrand, Sydney Hilderbrand, Alex Hilderbrand, Josh Hilderbrand, Cosby Hilderbrand, Karen Hilderbrand, David Lenderman, and Greg Lenderman; 3 great-grandchildren, Isabel Hilderbrand, Emmett Lenderman, and Marly Hilderbrand; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, December 3, 2006 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Sinyard officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery on Cascade Road in Atlanta. The following will serve as pallbearers: Cosby Hilderbrand, Greg Lenderman, David Lenderman, Mark Hilderbrand, Bill Hilderbrand, and Carl Hilderbrand. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Saturday, December 2, 2006 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
