Mrs. Willie Phillips James, 85, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, April 28, 2008 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. She was born July 22, 1922 in Cumming, Georgia the daughter of the late Thomas and Emily Mason. She was of the Christian Faith and worked in the shipping and distribution department at Rexall Drug Company. She enjoyed attending senior citizen events. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was devoted to her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Phillips; her sister, Beulah Brown, Ruby Breedlove, Era Welborn, Kathleen Warren, and Katie Morrow; and her brothers, Clarence Mason and Clyde Mason. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Melvin âBoâ Fulghum of Villa Rica; son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Clara Hamilton of Douglasville; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Roland Underwood and Rev. Jeff Morrow officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Tuesday, April 29, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
