Myra Garner Morgan

Mrs. Myra Garner Morgan, 87, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Wellstar Paulding Hospital in Dallas, Georgia. She was born April 18, 1919 in Paulding County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Elijah Dave Garner and the late Mrs. Lizzie Ann Gattis Garner. Mrs. Morgan was a retired employee of Del Mar Cabinet Company and was a member of Whitworth Memorial Baptist Church in Paulding County. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Dave Morgan; four brothers, Jim Garner, Judson Garner, J.S. Garner, and Robert Garner; and two sisters, Cora Iler, and Beatrice Shackelford. Survivors include her daughters and son in-law, Shirley Faye and Davy Manus of Douglasville; and Kate Smith of Paulding County, four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 3:00PM from Whitworth Memorial Baptist Church in Dallas, Georgia with Rev.’s Darin Cochran, Larry Keaton, and Thomas Garner officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica, Georgia.
