Mrs. Myrtie Lee Broome Richardson, age 81, of Villa Rica, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019. She was born March 14, 1938 the daughter of the late Mr. John Henry Broome and the late Mrs. Ada Susan Willis Broome. Mrs. Richardson was a self-employed business woman. A Bible Scholar, she was a long time member of Ephesus Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was a fabulous âMommawâ to many. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James âFarrisâ Richardson; daughter, Anita Richardson Stone; brothers, Ralph Broome and Wilbur Broome; sisters, Sarah Camp, Mary Smith, Annie Williams, and Ruth Crowe. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Hope and Steve Redwine of Marietta, Sandy and Greg Davis of Bremen; son, Glenn Richardson of Hiram; son-in-law, Richard Stone of Winston; fifteen grandchildren, Adam, Evan, Meghan, Caitlyn, Andre, Bryn, Lindsey, Will, Maggie, Drew, Krista, Alex, Austin, Tyler and McLain; one great-grandchild, Kaylee and one on the way; many nieces and nephews, and a special caregiver, Karen Wagner âKKâ also survive.The family will receive friends at Ephesus Baptist Church, Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 3:00 PM from Ephesus Baptist Church with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating. Eulogy will be provided by Mr. Tommy Camp. Interment will follow at Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery.
