Nancy Davis Thompson

Mrs. Nancy Davis Thompson, age 61, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. She was born July 19, 1948 in Anderson, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Mr. Wade Davis and the late Mrs. Marian Vaughn Davis. She was a homemaker and a dedicated grandmother who loved her family. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Jackson Hill Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. She is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Mr. Charles Elmer Thompson of Lithia Springs; her son and daughter-in-law, Charles E. Thompson II, and his wife, Sandi of Douglasville; her sisters, Suzanne Adams of Douglasville and Karen Horn of Colorado; her brother, Dana Davis of Jasper; two grandchildren, Avery and Riley; niece and her husband, Julie and Steve Smith of Douglasville; and great niece and nephew, Hannah and Hunter Bowman and several other nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Services will be conducted Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 1:00PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Monday, January 4, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
