Nancy Marie Samples

Mrs. Nancy Marie Rosser Samples, age 63, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice following an extended illness. She was born October 4, 1946 in Fulton County, Georgia the daughter of the late William Charles “Billy” Rosser, Sr. and the late Mrs. Catherine E. Cottingham Rosser. She worked as a circuit board builder for Gilliland. She was devoted to her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her legacy will live on in the lives of her grandchildren who brought joy and delight to her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Mandy Foster. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte “Mickey” Foster of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Brenda Voyles of Douglasville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice Elaine Rosser Carroll and Bill Carroll, Catherine Annette Rosser and John W. Godfrey and Dedra Lynn Rosser Beall all of Fairburn; brothers and sisters-in-law, William Charles “Pepper” Rosser, Jr. and Susan Echols Rosser, Phillip David Rosser, and Marcus Lee and Jody E. Rosser all of Fairburn; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 6:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Reed officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 5:30 PM until the funeral hour.
