Mrs. Nancy Lee Smith McClure, 86, of Douglasville, Georgia, formerly ofAnchorage, Alaska, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017. She was bornApril 12, 1930 in Galesburg, Illinois the daughter of the late Mr. Robert E.Smith and the late Mrs. Hazel Conway Smith. She retired from the UnitedStates Postal Service and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a peopleperson that loved helping others. She was a member of the Deerlick ParkSenior Club in Douglasville. Nancy loved to travel. She has visited all 50states, South America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. She loved herchildren, grandchildren, family and friends. She loved life, and will be somissed by everyone who knew her.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, WaltonR. McClure; and son, Rodger McClure.She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Donna McClure ofDouglasville, GA and son Loren McClure of Anchorage, Alaska; daughter,âJBâ Bailey of Anchorage, Alaska; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.daughter-in-law, Sharon Wiggins of Florida. And many friends.According to her wishes, the body was cremated. Her ashes will bescattered at Hatcher's Pass in Alaska along side her husband.
