Nathan Lee Fountain

Mr. Nathan Lee Fountain, age 88, of Winston, Georgia passed away Friday, October 30, 2009 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. He was born June 6, 1921 to the late Mr. Allen Azra Foutain and the late Mrs. Mamie Towler Fountain. He worked for the Douglas County Board of Education in several departments including maintenance, custodial and as a bus driver. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during WWII. Mr. Fountain is preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Effie Margaret Phillips Fountain. He is survived by sons and daughter-in-law Tommy Fountain and Jimmy and Jeanne Fountain, all of Winston; grandchildren Felicia, David, Ritchie, Michele, Keith, and Kyle; great grandchildren Tiffany, Kattie, Kenley, Brandi, Morgan and Zach; great grandchild Andrew; great-great grandchild Bryson. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 2, 2009 from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. James Massengale and Rev. Keith Fountain officiating. Interment will follow at the Douglas Chapel Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 1, 2009 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Douglas Chapel.
