Natherlena McCall Brown

Mrs. Natherlena McCall Brown, age 78, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009 at her residence. She was born July 27, 1931, in Gainer, Alabama, the daughter of the late Mr. James A. McCall and the late Mrs. Lloyl Meadows MCall. Mrs. Brown had been a resident of Douglasville for the past 42 years and was a member of Bethel Chapel in Mableton. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her sister, Rochelle McCall, her son-in-law, J. R. Parks and her grandson, Richard A. Parks. Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, Mr. Ashley E. Brown, Jr. of Douglasville; her daughters and sons-in-law, Elane Parks of Hiram, Janice and Ronnie Day of Canton and Sheila and Paul Hagler of Douglasville; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Donna Brown of Douglasville; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris Harrell, Gertrude Odom, Betty and James Webb, Elizabeth and Johnny Payne, Margie and Ron Black and Brenda McCall; her brother and sister-in-law, James and Joyce McCall; three grandchildren, Dana Day of Canton, Timothy Hagler of Douglasville and Tiffany Hagler Yater and her husband, Jacob Yater of Villa Rica; and several nieces, nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Sam Locklear officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, Georgia.
