Nayeli Antonia López-García, conocida como “Mamá”, falleció en su casa el 20 de noviembre de 2024 a la edad de 69 años. Nació el 2 de diciembre de 1954 en San Salvador, El Salvador, hija del difunto Sr. Jorge Alberto Lizama y la difunta Sra. Emelina García.
Nayeli era una persona extraordinaria; era un alma vibrante que era conocida por su personalidad adorable y sin filtros. Era una mujer que abrazaba la vida con los brazos abiertos, buen humor y una sonrisa. Su honestidad y autenticidad la hicieron que muchos la quisieran y se convirtió en amiga de todos los que tuvieron el placer de conocerla.
Como orgullosa madre, abuela y bisabuela, los logros de los que más se enorgullecía Nayeli eran su familia. Sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos eran el centro de su universo y se dedicó a nutrirlos con amor y apoyo infinito.
Nayeli tenía intereses variados que reflejaban su vibrante personalidad. Nayeli disfrutaba de los placeres sencillos, como ir de compras, disfrutar de comidas deliciosas y disfrutar de su pasatiempo favorito: ver telenovelas y las noticias. Además, era una ávida amante del café. A Nayeli le encantaban los viajes, lo que la llevaba a destinos hermosos, en particular las visitas al río lento de Tennessee, las playas y los diferentes lagos. Le encantaba ir a los parques, a Six Flags y las carne asadas también eran algo muy querido para ella.
A Nayeli le sobreviven su esposo de 45 años, el Sr. Eustorfio López-García; sus hijos, José Douglas Aguirre, Ana Betty López-García, Oscar García, Nelson García, Vitalina Castro López, Davy López-García, Marisol López-García Fountain y Jeffrey López-García; nietos, Cheyenne Fountain, Aylin Martinez, Malena Fountain, Keren Castro, Chris Castro, Justin Castro, Gisselle Castro, Jasmine Zamora, Brian Lopez, Angel Lopez, Emery Lopez, Davy Lopez, Carlos Serrano, Maria Serrano, Wendy Serrano, Rosalia Aguirre, Douglas Davy Aguirre y Victor Aguirre; bisnietos, Brian, Evelyn y Anahis; hermanos, Miguel Angel Garcia y Manuel Garcia; hermanas, Gloria de Rivera Mendez y Reyna Maritza Garcia; así como familiares y amigos.
La familia recibirá a amigos el martes 26 de noviembre de 2024, de 11:00 a.m. a 12:00 p.m., seguido del servicio fúnebre a las 12:00 p.m. en Jones-Wynn Funeral Home - Douglas Chapel. Luego será enterrada en Sunrise Memorial Gardens en Douglasville, Georgia.

Nayeli Antonia Lopez-Garcia, affectionately known as “Mama”, passed away at her home on November 20, 2024 at the age of 69. She was born on December 2, 1954, in San Salvador, El Salvador, to the late Mr. Jorge Alberto Lizama and the late Mrs. Emelina Garcia.
Nayeli was a remarkable individual; she was a vibrant soul who was known for her loveable and no-filter personality. She was a woman who embraced life with open arms, good humor and a smile. Her honesty and realness endeared her to many, and she became a friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
As a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Nayeli's proudest accomplishments were her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her universe, and she dedicated herself to nurturing them with endless love and support.
Nayeli had varied interests that reflected her vibrant personality. She found joy in simple pleasures such as shopping, enjoying delicious meals, and indulging in her favorite pastime of watching soap operas, the news and was an avid coffee lover. Nayeli had a love for travel that took her to beautiful destinations, particularly cherishing visits to the Lazy River in Tennessee, beaches, and different lakes. She loved going to parks, Six Flags, and cookouts were also dear to her heart.
Nayeli is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mr. Eustorfio Lopez-Garcia; children, Jose Douglas Aguirre, Ana Betty Lopez-Garcia, Oscar Garcia, Nelson Garcia, Vitalina Castro Lopez, Davy Lopez-Garcia, Marisol Lopez-Garcia Fountain, and Jeffrey Lopez-Garcia; grandchildren, Cheyenne Fountain, Aylin Martinez, Malena Fountain, Keren Castro, Chris Castro, Justin Castro, Gisselle Castro, Jasmine Zamora, Brian Lopez, Angel Lopez, Emery Lopez, Davy Lopez, Carlos Serrano, Maria Serrano, Wendy Serrano, Rosalia Aguirre, Douglas Davy Aguirre, and Victor Aguirre; great-grandchildren, Brian, Evelyn and Anahis; brothers, Miguel Angel Garcia and Manuel Garcia; sisters, Gloria de Rivera Mendez and Reyna Maritza Garcia; as well as extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home - Douglas Chapel. She will then be laid to rest at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, Georgia.
