Nellie Whigham Rich

Mrs. Nellie Whigham-Rich, 84, of Villa Rica passed away Friday, July 5, 2013. Nellie was born February 25, 1929 in Clarksville, Georgia. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she was known as MawMaw to all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Earl; mother, Mary Henry Bramblett; father, Martin Luther Bramblett; two sisters; four brothers, daughters, Linda Wallace and Marcia Matthews; three grandsons and one granddaughter. She is survived by her brother, James Bramblett; sisters, Bertha Fields and Marie Rooks; children, Ronald Whigham, Ray Whigham, Martin Whigham and Rita Dowty; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica, Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, July 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Pawley officiating.
