Nettie Townsend Hill

Mrs. Nettie Townsend Hill, age 86, of Decatur, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home in Atlanta. She was born April 28, 1923 in Douglasville, Georgia. She was a homemaker and was a member of Decatur First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larkin New Hill. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, M. Kenneth Hill of Lilburn, Victor and Jennifer Hill of Douglasville, and Marcus Dean and Cindy Hill of Covington; grandchildren, Suzanne Hill, Angela Swafford, Stephanie Harper, Heather Hill, Amy Hill, Travis Hill and Nickolas Hill; great-grandchildren, Hayden Hill, Harper Hill, Micah Hill, Sarah Ramsey, Addison Armandariz, Emily Armandariz, and Ethan Hill; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, August 10, 2009 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. David S. Naglee officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Carrollton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, August 10, 2009 from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM.
