Nicholas Stephen Sexton

Mr. Nicholas Stephen Sexton, 67, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010 at his residence. He was born November 5, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Clarence Sexton and the late Mrs. Ruby Nicholas Sexton Woodward. He was a member of the Pebblebrook Baptist Church in Cobb County and worked as a checker for Roadway Express. He was a member of the Teamsters Local Union 728. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and coffee. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Chris Wright of Concord, NC; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason Chad Sexton of Douglasville, Robert and Lorna Sexton of Taylors, SC, and Chuck and Patti Sexton of Greer, SC; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Bob Butler of New Georgia and Merrie Beth and Larry Lucas of Orlando, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Mary Sexton of Panama City Beach, FL, Michael and Sherry Sexton of New Georgia and Houston and Wendy Milner of Snellville; 9 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. No Service is planned at this time.
