Nickolas Jacob Gibson

Nickolas Jacob Gibson, 19, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024. He was born on July 12, 2005, the son of Stephen Anthony Gibson and Vanessa Armstrong Mulcahy.

Jacob was a 2023 Central Highschool graduate. Jacob had a deep love for his family, especially his beloved nieces and nephews, with whom he cherished every moment. His compassion and kindness shone through in all the relationships he fostered. He was also a devoted pet owner, finding joy and companionship in his kitty, Valentina, who brought warmth to his home.

Beyond these cherished responsibilities, Jacob had a passion for adventure. He found freedom and exhilaration in riding his motorcycle, a pursuit that mirrored his zest for life. Known among friends and family for his vibrant personality, he often showcased his favorite color, red, reflecting the boldness with which he approached life.

He was preceded in death by his grand-father Donald Armstrong; great-grandmother, Betty Armstrong; maternal great-grandparents, Bobby and Louise Fincher.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-mother, Maureen Gibson; step-father, Brandon Mulcahy; step-sister, Skye Moore of Heflin; brothers, and sisters-in-law, Justen and Kierra Mullins of Carrollton, Blake Gibson and Ethan Gibson both of Carrollton; step-brother, Justin and Teresa Freeman of Heflin, Alabama; grandparents, Ron and Judy Starkey of Beverly Hills, Florida, Janice Hardy of Heflin; great-grandparents, Hurchell Armstrong of Carrollton; uncles, Branden Patten and Danny Gibson; nieces and nephews, Kayden, Paisley, Langston, Gavin and Praisely; several cousins and extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 3:00 PM from the Villa Rica Chapel at Jones-Wynn.
