Nina Sue Bearden

Nina Sue Johns Bearden, 86, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Lessel Monteen Johns.

Ms. Sue was a warm presence who never met a stranger anywhere that she went. She was known for her love of cooking, reading and travelling all over the world. Mrs. Bearden was a devout Christian and held a very strong faith in God. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sue Bearden is preceded in death by her children, Becky Bearden Tuggle and Russell Troy Bearden. 

She is survived by her granddaughters, Charlotte Tuggle and Natalie Shelor as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Bearden was cremated. Her family will be holding a private ceremony to celebrate her life. 

 In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
