Nina Popham

Mrs. Nina Wynn Popham, age 90, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Ashbrook Village in Villa Rica. She was born September 27, 1921 in Temple, the daughter of the late Mr. Joseph Hiram Wynn and the late Mrs. Dura Shirah Wynn. She retired as a Supervisor for Hubbard Slacks in Bremen after many years of service. She was a long time member of New Brooklyn Baptist Church. She was part of a Gospel Singing Group and attended Lithia Springs First Baptist Church for a short time. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband T.P. Popham; brother, John H. Wynn; sister-in-law, Juanita Wynn and brother-in-law, U.V. Popham. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Angie and Dale Gaddis of Marietta, Barry and Letitia Wynn of Temple, Bobby and Drama Wynn of Douglasville, David and Cindy Wynn of Temple. Several great nieces and great nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour. Funeral Service will be conducted Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Interment will follow at Asbury Cemetery in Temple, GA with Milford Ballenger officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Ed Agan, Johnny Muse, Cody Wynn, Jason Wynn, Josh Wynn, and Jamie Wynn. Messages of condolences may be sent to the family from www.jones-wynn.com.
