Mrs. Nobie Lee Baggett Cohran, age 88, of Dallas, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013. She was born, June 9, 1925, in Paulding County, GA, the daughter of the late Mr. Arthur Baggett and the late Mrs. Claudie Bell Baggett. She was a homemaker and longtime member of Smyrna United Methodist Church.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Arvis Cohran; brothers. Aubury Baggett, Glenn Baggett, Lowell Baggett and Grover Baggett; sisters, Grace Wix and Ethyl Cohran.She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James Michael Cohran and his wife, Mary Cohran of Villa Rica, Tony Cohran and his wife, Karen Cohran of Temple; brother, Tom Baggett of Waco; four grandchildren, Scott Cohran of Villa Rica, Christie Cohran Thomason of Dallas, Chris and Stacie Cohran of Villa Rica, Ashley and Will Rakestraw of Dallas; several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Abney and Rev. Steve Griggers officiating. Interment will follow in Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
