Nora Estelle Owens Noles

Mrs. Nora Estelle Owens Noles, age 87, of Liberty Road, Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Carrollton Manor Nursing Home. A Douglas County native, she was born April 3, 1920 the daughter of the late Mr. George Owens and the late Mrs. Betsy Boyd Owens. She married Paul Reese Noles on December 21, 1931. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Paul Reese Noles. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Susie Noles of Villa Rica; one sister, Jewell Lovins of Douglasville; 3 grandchildren, Kim Amerson Skinner and her husband, Charles Skinner, Kristie Noles, and Kevin Amerson; 2 great-grandchildren, Kevin Amerson, II and Kollin Ray Amerson; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, January 4, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Michael White officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
