Norma Elaine Gilchrist

Mrs. Norma Elaine Gilchrist, 63, of Rainey Road, Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Georgia. She was born March 23, 1942, in Carroll County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late William Causey and the late cordial Mae Pruitt. Mrs. Gilchrist was of the Baptist faith. She worked as a supervisor for National Envelope and was a homemaker. Mrs. Gilchrist loved flowers and spending time at her grandchildren’s ballgames. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Robert Cullen Stinson Gilchrist; daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy and Ralph Bryant Marrow of Villa Rica, Taylor and Terry Duncan of Villa Rica, Stephanie and Allen Tamar-Campbell of Villa Rica and Jewell Star Knight of Temple; sons and daughters-in-law, Tony Lamar and Debra Key of Villa Rica and James Malchus and Virginia Gilchrist of Temple, and Robert “Sonny” C.S. Gilchrist of Villa Rica; sisters and brother-in-law, Martha J. and Roy Floyd Clifton of Bremen and Irene Burton of Bremen; brother and sister-in-law, William Everette and Shirley Causey of Whitesburg; 17 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 11, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, November 11, 2005, from 12:30 PM until the funeral hour.
