Norma Sue Cole

Norma Sue Cole, 87, of Carrollton, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. She was born on August 7, 1937, the daughter of the late Rader Marchman Suddeth and the late Lonie Virginia Parks Suddeth.

Sue was known for her deep love for her family and her dedication to her church. She was a devoted wife who adored her husband and a loving mother. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, bringing her endless joy and laughter.

She found joy in exploring new places through traveling and camping. Sue will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Burnell Cole; great-grandson, Nicholas Grant and several sisters.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Dana (Ronald) Norton of Carrollton and Jennifer (Jon) Montgomery of Villa Rica; seven grandchildren, Jared (Morgan) Norton, Amanda Norton (Brandon) Prosser, Chelsea (Patrick) McDonald, Kaylin Holder, William Holder, Chase (Ashli) Montgomery, and Jon (Ashley) Montgomery, Jr.; ten great-grandchildren, Presley, Cade, Bryson, Harper, Kinsley, Hayden, Brennan, Raiden, Andrew, and Joy; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at the Villa Rica Chapel on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Paul Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Melrose Gardens of Memories.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Jared Norton, Brandon Prosser, William Holder, Patrick McDonald, Hayden Lofollette, and Bryson Martin.
