Norman C. Heiden

Norman Carl Heiden, age 81, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. He was born December 24, 1929 in Bay City, Michigan, the son of the late Mr. Edgar Charles Heiden and the late Mrs. Gertrude Friebe. He married Dolores Modrowski on February 22, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a Quality Control Chemist for Dow Chemical Company. He was a devoted member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Douglasville where he loved singing in the choir. He is survived by his wife, Dolores H. Heiden of Douglasville; daughter, Sandra L. Masters of Villa Rica; son, Ernest Goebel of Rochelle, IL; sisters and brother-in-law, Ardeth Gunton of Willowick, OH and Doreen and John Musser of Hastings, MI; Donald Heiden of Bay City, MI; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Douglasville with Pastor Michael Bovington officiating.
