Norman Zackery Taylor

Mr. Norman Zackery Taylor, age 77, of Carrollton, passed away, Thursday, January 9, 2020. He was born June 12, 1942 in Fitzgerald the son of the late Mr. Needham Z. Taylor and the late Mrs. Evelyn Lawrence Taylor. He worked for C.C. Dickson for many years. Mr. Taylor enjoyed wood working, making furniture, and genealogy. He was a very giving person and loved his family. Mr. Taylor was a resident of Carrollton for over 40 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James T. Aycock; sister, Edna Wilcox. He is survived by his wife, Jane Nickell Taylor of Carrollton; daughters, Carrie Taylor Olinger of Bowdon; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Clarice Aycock of Albany; two grandchildren, Aaron Zachary and T'Keyah Olinger of Atlanta, Zoe Elizabeth Olinger of Bowdon. According to Mr. Taylor's wishes he was cremated. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00 PM from Carrollton Presbyterian Church, 124 Maple Street, Carrollton, GA 30117. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Tanner Hospice, 119 Ambulance Drive, Suite 200, Carrollton, Georgia 30117.
