Obeda Whittle

Mrs. Obeda Teagle Whittle, age 88 of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019. She was born June 14, 1930, the daughter of the late Mr. William Thomas Teagle and the late Mrs. Luevada Lowery Teagle of Pitts, Georgia. Mrs. Whittle worked for 25 years with Atlanta Gas Light as a Head Teller. She is a member of Midway United Methodist Church and a member of WM Women.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Jackson Whittle, Sr. of Douglasville, Georgia; son, Franklin Jackson Whittle, Jr. of Douglasville, Georgia; daughter, Tommie Joan Whittle Williams of Douglasville, Georgia; sister, Arena Teagle Land of Pitts, GeorgiaShe is survived by daughters and son-in-law; Vauna Whittle and Timothy W. Bellury of Fayetteville, Georgia, Cathy Whittle Ferguson of Eatonton, Georgia; four grandchildren, Jennifer Bellury and Ravi Terrdhala, Angela Bellury and Michael Bostedt, Ashleigh Nichole Whittle, and Palmer (Whit) and Nicole Ferguson III; four great grandchildren, Kiran Bellury Terrdhala, Mirabella Bellury Teerdhala, Bryson Lee Bostedt, and Palmer Ferguson IV.The family will receive friends at Midway United Methodist Church on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Midway United Methodist Church with Rev.
