Ola Laverne Holland

Ola Laverne Holland, 83, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. She was born on November 10, 1939. She is the daughter of the late Claude Tilson and Fannie Steinwener Tilson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elden Olen Holland; son, James Weston Holland; daughter, Theresa Lynn Shoemake; brothers, Vernon Tilson and  Howard Tilson; sister, Lois Houston.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Liesa and Jimmy Hayes and Lea Holland; son and daughter-in-law, John and Kay Holland; brothers, Thomas Tilson, Ronnie Tilson, and Randall Tilson; grandchildren, Jason Holland, Kevin Holland, Steven Holland, Danny Hayes, Seth Shoemake, Jesse Ray Shoemake; great-grandchildren, Amerly Holland, Mallory Holland, Colby Holland, Ayla Holland, Logan Holland, Averi Holland, Brantley Hayes, Greyson Hayes, Hunter Shoemake, and Slade Shoemake; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
