Ola Mae Morris Gantt

Mrs. Ola Mae Morris Gantt, 83, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Heartland Hospice in Austell, Georgia. Mrs. Gantt was born May 10, 1924 in Douglas County, Georgia; the daughter of the late Joe. L. Morris and the late Etta Smith Morris. Mrs. Gantt was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Truman L. Gantt. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Wanda and Ralph Couch of Lithia Springs; sisters, Barbara Pointer and Ruby Shead, both of Douglasville; grandchildren, Brandi and Brady Butler, Allan K. Couch, and Kathleen Butler, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Marbut officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Monday, December 17, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
