Mrs. Ola Mae Swafford Miller, 86, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Monday, August 14, 2006 at Oak Mountain Village in Carrollton, Georgia. She was born October 14, 1919 in Paulding County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Radio Swafford and the late Mrs. Lola Cole Swafford. Mrs. Miller was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church in Temple, Georgia. She worked as a machinist at Brown’s Hosiery Mill and retired from Villa Rica City Hospital having worked in housekeeping. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Woodrow Miller; her infant son, Raymond Miller; her brother, Guy Swafford; and her sisters, Lorene Swafford, Floy Miller and Ozell Hale. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, LeeRoy and Anne Miller of Villa Rica; her brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Ruth Swafford of Temple; two grandchildren, Kerry and Marcia Miller of Villa Rica and Terry Miller of Villa Rica; and four great-grandchildren, Brittany Miller, Brandon Miller, Brooke Miller and Jordan Miller. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Charles Williams, Minister Tony Boyd and Mr. Kerry Miller officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Rev. Ben Pilgreen. Serving as pallbearers will be Bruce Smith, Loy Miller, Martin Hale, Joe Hall, Kirby Simmons, Faron Swafford, Larry Farr and Barry Meeks. Interment will follow in Harmony Grove Cemetery in Temple, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, August 15, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Those desiring to do so may make contributions In Memory of Mrs. Ola Mae Swafford Miller to Harmony Grove Baptist Church, General Fund, 77 Harmony Road, Dallas, Georgia.
