Ollie Bee Smith

Ollie Bee Smith, 91, of Villa Rica, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024. She was born on May 15, 1933, the daughter of the late James and Nora Gilley.

Ollie led a life filled with simple joys and cherished moments. She had a passion for visiting flea markets and yard sales, where she would often find unique treasures that brought a smile to her face.  She enjoyed yard work and had a strong commitment for recycling and finding ways to reduce waste.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Rudolph Smith; sons, Johnny Weldon and Frankie Weldon.

She is survived by her daughters, Vickie (Terry) Voyles of Villa Rica, Ann Hanson of South Carolina; son, Jessie James Smith of Villa Rica; grandchildren, Bunky (Lindsey) Voyles, Daniel Hanson, Joseph Hanson, Jamie Smith and Tina Smith; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Villa Rica Chapel at Jones-Wynn. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
