Mrs. Opal Pauline Enterkin Adams, 91, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, March 27, 2017. She was born March 20, 1926 in Muscadine, Alabama, the daughter of the late Mr. Samuel Olin Enterkin and the late Mrs. Clemmie Taylor Enterkin. She was a homemaker and a member of Chapel Hill Road Baptist Church. She loved traveling to the mountains and visiting Gatlinburg, shopping, and fishing. She enjoyed working in her garden. She especially loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Moore Adams; daughter, Linda Henderson; sister, Helen Enterkin; brothers, Charles Enterkin, Fred Enterkin, and James Enterkin; and son-in-law, Mike Fortner. She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Judy Fortner of Douglasville and Susan and Mike Anderson of Douglasville; sister-in-law, Pat Enterkin of Villa Rica; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Frank Powers officiating.
