Orlando Ortiz

Orlando Ortiz, age 60, a talented photographer known for his friendly and outgoing personality, passed away on February 24, 2024. He was born in Maryland on September 4, 1963, to the late Mr. Bonifacio Ortiz and the late Mrs. Angelina Ortiz.

Orlando brought joy to all those around him with his infectious smile and willingness to help anyone in need. His love for photography was evident in his work, capturing moments that will forever be treasured. He found solace in camping and being near the ocean. Orlando was often found aboard cruises, exploring the beauty of the sea with his camera in hand. Among his proudest accomplishments was being an active member of the Bear Community, where he made lasting friendships and contributed positively to the community he cared about. Orlando loved taking care of his dogs, Milo and Barkley, above all things.

He will be deeply missed by his surviving loved ones, including his loving husband, Wilton Allen II; sisters, Lisa Ortiz-Colon, Angie Flores, Emilia Vazquez, Rosita Vazquez and brother Tito Vazquez.

According to his wishes, Orlando was cremated.
