Ottis Woods II

Mr. Ottis Clinton “Buddy” Woods, II, age 57, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016. He was born February 24, 1959 in Waynesville, Missouri the son of the late Mr. Wilton Verl Woods and the late Mrs. Imojean Moody Woods. He was of the Baptist Faith. He never met a stranger and was very honest, genuine and compassionate. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid walker. He collected stamps and rocks. He loved to eat and spend time with family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Ann Smith. He is survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sundra and Buddy Blanchard of Lithia Springs, GA and Linda Brown of Avinger, TX; nieces and nephew, Polly Samples, Patti Shellman, Phonda Medor, Genii Dover, Thomas McLarty, and Nicholas Blanchard; great-nieces and great-nephews, Wesley Dover, Cassandra Dover, T.J. McLarty, Jr., Hannah McLarty, Zachery Matznick, Elizabeth Matznick, Rebecca Samples Westmoreland, Todd Samples, B.J. Shellman, Jessica Shellman, Briar Medor; two great great nieces, Delilah Shellman and Heavenleigh Dover; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Graveside Services will be conducted Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Powder Springs City Cemetery with Rev. Tom Carter officiating.
