Pamela Ann Smith, 73, affectionately known as Pam, passed away on December 31, 2023. She was born on May 12, 1950, in Austell, Georgia to the late Mr. Grady Herman Kite and the late Mrs. Jannie Wallace Kite.
Pam dedicated her life to being a loving housewife. Her warm and inviting personality touched the lives of many. She had an outgoing nature and never met a stranger. Pam's caring and kind spirit made everyone around her feel valued and loved. Her family meant everything to her; she was truly family-oriented.
Pam took on the role of taking care of her grandchildren. She poured all her love into nurturing them and ensuring their well-being. Pam's devotion to her family was unwavering - she was very proud of being a grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Pam had a range of hobbies and interests. However, nothing brought her greater joy than spending quality time with her loved ones.
Pam is survived by her loving husband, Brantley Smith; son, Derick (Ellen) Smith; grandchildren, Austin (Bella) Guinn and Andrew Smith; great-grandchild, Morgan Guinn; sisters, Linda (Randall) Bonds and Wanda (Bruce) Shoemaker; as well as nieces and nephews, Tim (Tracy) Bonds, Kim (Shaun) Parker, Wayne (Allison) Lyle, Mark Lyle, and Jenny (Brad) Gordon.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 10 AM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home – Douglasville Chapel. The memorial service will follow at 11 AM, with Pastor Vermon Parmer officiating.
