Mrs. Pamela Sue Arrowood Malcom, age 73, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020. She was born February 1, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Donnie Lee Arrowood and the late Audry Ocile Mooneyham. She worked as a data processor. Mrs. Malcom loved cats and rescued many. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping, going to the lake and cutting grass. Mrs. Malcom was known as "Grannie" and "Granlee" to her family and she was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Malcom was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Julius Malcom; her brother, Wayne Arrowood; her sisters, Virginia "Jenny" Lowe, Shirley Griffin, Brencie Hitchcock and Gail Brown.
Mrs. Malcom is survived by her daughter, Deborah G. Dodson of Anniston, Alabama; her sister, Maida Rodriguez of Miami, Florida; her granddaughter, Tiffany Shree Dodson of Anniston, Alabama and her great-grandson, Jacob Linwood Hall, Jr.; many beloved nieces and nephews also survive.
We are still providing services to our families based on CDC Covid-19 guidelines. According to Mrs. Malcom's wishes, she will be cremated. Private, Family Memorial Service will be held with Pastor Robert Burt officiating.
