Patricia Ann Gossett Earp

Mrs. Patricia Ann Gossett Earp, age 71, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at her home. She was born September 27, 1936 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Jonathan F. Bass and the late Mrs. Stella E. Bass. She was a hairdresser and a Christian. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was very involved with her family. She devoted herself to her children when they were young and being involved in her children’s softball and baseball practices and games. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and best friend. She is survived by her husband, Norman E. Earp of Douglasville; children and their spouses, Stephen Lynn Gossett of Cleveland, Theresa and Barry Gonzalez of Douglasville, Gina and Trevor Mixon of Boaz, Tina Elizabeth and Dion Bray of Villa Rica, Kim and Leo Parker of Dallas, and Pam Leskanic of St. Petersburg, FL; her cousin and best friend, Barbara Gray; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, September 5, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Thursday, September 4, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
