Mrs. Patricia Diane Leonard Ayers, 58, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017. She was born October 5, 1959 in Marshall County, Alabama the daughter of the late Mr. Homer Carlton Leonard and the late Mrs. Etta Jane Childress Leonard. She married Eddie Ray Ayers on September 15, 1995 in Lithia Springs. She worked as a cashier for over 22 years at Food Depot on Highway 5 in Douglasville. She enjoyed riding rail buggies and attending car shows with her husband, Eddie. She was an avid gardener, enjoying her flowers. She was a loving and devoted wife. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Wayne Leonard. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Eddie Ray Ayers of Douglasville; step daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Jeff Cloer of Loganville, Brandy Ayers Lowe and her husband, Cody of Cartersville, Amy and Ryan Johnson of Bremen; stepsons and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Carrie Barber of Tallapoosa and Daniel Campbell of Villa Rica; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah and Douglas George of Douglasville, Kathy and Bobby McCleary of Winston, and Karen Tilley of Douglasville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Debbie Leonard and Michael and Peggy Leonard all of Douglasville; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family members also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica.
