Patricia Babel

Mrs. Patricia Ann Babel was born March 22, 1947 in Rochester, New York, was taken suddenly February 11, 2019 after a brief illness. She is sorely missed by her husband of 45 years Daniel Babel, and three lovingly annoying children Diana, Frances and Brian, and a grandson Jaxon whom his “Nana” cherished. Being the oldest of eight children she is deeply missed by sisters Janet Steidle, Jo Ann Norris, Karen Gaylord, Barbara Wachob, Lauren Blake, a brother Larry Berardi, plus their spouses and their children. Patricia is preceded in death by parents Lawrence and Ann Berardi and a sister Carol Berardi.Patty lived a full life, growing up and working various jobs but her true love was raising animals and farm life. She was also very talented, singing in a Sweet Adelines Group, running a bakery, and making amazing stained glass pieces for gifts. Patty loved people and made a friend of everyone she met. Everyone knew her as an honest, hardworking, loyal straight shooter and a fighter who loved her family more than anything. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Morris officiating.
