Patricia Coalson

Mrs. Patricia Ann Thomas Coalson, age 82 of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019. She was born January 8, 1937, the daughter of the late Mr. Byrd Emory Thomas and the late Mrs. Zonie Williams Thomas. Mrs. Coalson loved her family very much. She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, cross stitch, camping, water sking, and riding motorcycles. Mrs. Coalson was a member of First Baptist Church of Austell. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. Mrs. Coalson is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jerry Franklin Coalson, Sr. of Douglasville, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Patty and John Weems of Taylorsville, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Jr. and Dana Coalson of Dallas, Georgia; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Powder Springs Memorial Gardens in Powder Springs, Georgia with Rev. Eddie Barton.
