Patricia Ann Cronan, age 83, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, in Douglasville, Georgia. Born on September 13, 1942, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Harry Thomas Jackson and Thelma Shadix. Patricia enriched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness throughout her 83 years.
Patricia spent over 15 years as an Assistant Office Manager at Home Depot, where she was respected by her colleagues for her dedication and hard work. Her career was marked by a strong work ethic and an unwavering commitment to those she served.
Outside of her professional life, Patricia was known for her remarkable ability to connect with others. She truly never met a stranger, always eager to make new friends and spread joy wherever she went. From her love of shopping to participating in numerous community activities, Patricia's sociable nature enriched the lives of those around her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Gene Cronan.
Patricia was especially proud of her family. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Rogers (Scott) of Cartersville, Georgia; her brothers, Ricky Shadix (Terry Noah) of Temple and Randy Shadix (Wanda) of The Villages, Florida; her grandchildren, Shayla Dempsey (Clifton) and Zach Yancey (Chloe); and her great-grandchild, Johnny Dempsey. Patricia's greatest accomplishments were her roles as a devoted mother and cherished Memaw to her grandchildren, whom she loved deeply.
As we remember Patricia Ann Cronan, we celebrate a life filled with laughter, love, and caring spirit. Her legacy continues through her family and friends, who will always hold her memory close to their hearts.
The family will hold a graveside service for Patricia Ann on March 6, 2026, at 11:00am at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, GA.
