Patricia Fortenberry

Mrs. Patricia Fuller Fortenberry, age 58, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. She was born January 24, 1955 in Douglasville, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Samuel Thomas Fuller and the late Mrs. Thelma Christine Tant Fuller. She was a homemaker. She was devoted to her family and loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, J.T. and Amy Fuller. She is survived by her husband, Joel L. Fortenberry of Carrollton; daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Bryan Lawrence of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Casey and Windy Fortenberry of Roswell; sister, Joni Petty of Lithia Springs; half brother, Kenneth Wortham of Rex; three grandchildren, Preston Lawrence, Truett Lawrence and Beckham Fortenberry; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Joel L. Fortenberry and Rev. Casey Fortenberry officiating. Interment will follow at West Georgia Memorial Park in Carrollton with Rev. Johnny Ivey officiating. The following will serve as pallbearers: Joel Fortenberry, Casey Fortenberry, Bryan Lawrence, Daniel Lawrence, T.J. Petty, and Dustin Petty.
